Week 13 Progress

Review Daniel Rickard as Project Leader

Daniel is a very committed project leader and shows enthusiasm at the tasks he carries out throughout the project duration. As a leader, he is able to monitor all members and assigned the different roles and responsibilities to the members according to their interest and also capability. Because he bears the responsibility of a leader, he was firm and made sure everyone performed their best and deliver whatever tasks that was required so that we stay on track and do not fall behind.

          In terms of communication, he created a facebook group page and I thought that it was a great idea of keeping everyone on the team connected and updated with each other’s progress and pace of work. Almost everyday, the members will post or leave messages, informing each other what is the stage of their work and also seek for help from other members on the team. Daniel communicates with the members individually as well as a group. He pays attention to the progress of each member and tries to correct the member and also suggest a better way of doing it and that shows that he has the capability to judge and instead of demanding people to do work, he does the work with them and helped members improved. This shows a side of strong leadership with humility.

          The overall experience I have working under his leadership was overwhelming and I would very much like to be in a team with him if given a chance in the future as he is a person with goals and has high level of competency, a positive spirit that is able to encourage and lead others so that they can also achieve the goal. Last but not least, his is able to work under pressure and yet produce quality work.
